Yesterday Studio Blush designed our first wedding of the 2011 season! Dusty purple, pale pink and Ivory lush Spring Flowers were the theme of this wedding. Parrot Tulips, Cherry Blossoms, and Lilacs made it feel like Spring was finally really here. This gorgeous event took place at The Old State House in Hartford, was coordinated by the talented team at Jubilee Events and catered by A Thyme To Cook. A 4th of July wedding held at the Guilford Yacht Club we designed the flowers for was featured on the Style me Pretty Little Black Book Blog today! Lots of Purple Hydrangea, Orchids and Maiden Hair Fern was used with accents of succulents. The simple Chuppah was made of Birch Branches with floral sprays of Orchids and Ferns attached to the 2 corners. Yesterday the team at Blush floral studio designed a wedding at the Guilford Yacht Club featuring rich shades of purples and chocolate browns. The centerpieces featured different shades of purples including Antiqued Hydrangea, Lisianthus, Calla Lilies, Geranium Leaf and Stock. The Chocolate Brown linens created a rich look perfect for Autumn!

Last Friday my bride and groom hosted a surprise wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club! The guests thought they were attending an engagement party only to be greeted with the surprise of an actual wedding! The colors of the ceremony were kept clean and classic in whites and greens with a pop of color in the reception of shades of purple with small accents of bright red. Candice of Jubilee Events coordinated the evening.
